I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Middlesbrough and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and attention to detail. The hotel is located in a busy central area, tucked away behind the Aldi store, making it convenient for accessing local shops and bars. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, checking us in efficiently and ensuring our room was sorted to our satisfaction. The basic amenities were well-maintained, with rooms equipped with tea making facilities and nice thick large towels. The beds were comfortable, perfect for a teenager to unwind after a day of exploring. Another highlight was the breakfast, offering a decent selection of food.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was great and there was nothing that could be improved upon.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room Spent a city break at the hotel, and the location was spot on! Easy to get to all the major attractions. the staff was very welcoming and helpful, giving us insider tips on the best places to eat and visit in the city. the room was clean and tidy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. the parking area was also a plus as we had a rental car.
Limited amenities, extra charges for breakfast and Wi-Fi the hotel was lacking in amenities. We had to pay extra for breakfast and Wi-Fi, which was more expensive than other hotels in the area.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional, providing friendly and accommodating service throughout. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with easy access to major road networks. the food at the hotel exceeded expectations, with excellent quality and friendly service.
The external surroundings of the hotel were not well-maintained, which was off-putting. There were signs of people sleeping outside and lots of rubbish, making the area feel unsafe.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, located in a convenient area with plenty of nearby restaurants. the travelodge rooms were basic but clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. We enjoyed a satisfying breakfast in the cafe before catching our early morning coach from the nearby bus station. the hotel also had a friendly and helpful reception staff.
The hotel's signage could be improved, as it was difficult to locate initially.
